Deal Making

Agreeing To End The Action At The Final Table

Reaching the final table of a multi-table tourney on Americas Cardroom isn’t just thrilling but also opens the door to our exclusive Deal-Making feature. This feature allows you and your fellow Final Table participants to come to a mutual decision to split the remaining prize pot and end the game immediately, with the funds being directly deposited to your accounts.

The decision to make a deal is completely optional. It’s available at all final tables in our scheduled multi-table tourneys after late registration ends, provided the number of payouts in the event is equal to or greater than the number of seats at the final table.

Deal-Making extends to knockout MTTs too, but it’s important to note that bounties are excluded from any deals. Each player keeps their bounties as part of the deal.

Thinking About Cutting a Deal?

Look for the “I Want a Deal” button at the final table. It replaces the “Live Dealer Blackjack” button at eligible tables. At the start of the final table, a straightforward guide on how to initiate a deal will pop up for all participants.

Clicking “I Want a Deal” surrounds your avatar with a green glow and triggers an animation on the table.

After every player signals their intent to deal by clicking “I Want a Deal”, the following message shows up: “All players would like to make a deal. After this hand, the tournament will be paused and players may review the terms of the deal.”

When the hand concludes, the table takes a break to present the deal options. Spectators will be informed that players are deciding whether to make a deal.

You’ve got 5 minutes on the “Make a Deal” dialog box to either click “Accept this deal” or “No deal right now.” You’ll see the prize breakdown, how many players are left, their chip stacks, and what each player’s share under the deal would be.

The ICM calculator determines deal amounts, and they’re not up for discussion.

Note that deals apply strictly to the normal prize pool. Bounties remain with the player in bounty tournaments.

Upon agreement, a green check appears next to agreeing players, with a red x alongside any dissenters.

If all are not in agreement, the game alerts players and resumes after 20 seconds.

Deals can be renegotiated based on new chip counts if the first proposal doesn’t stick. Once fully agreed upon, the tourney concludes, and a breakdown of the winnings, including applicable bounties, is shared.

Americas Cardroom promptly rounds out the payments as agreed and updates the tournament lobby to show who made a deal, marking them in green for easy reference.
